[Mod] Deco Blocks [decoblocks]

Hi all! This is my decoblocks mod. This is completely different to all the other mods that adds deco. This adds glowing blocks and glass that produces light! HOPE YOU ENJOY!

By Aqua and my bro who did the deco substance textures!

its colourful.....and ....how to express it.... unique?
i would not use this, but this is a good example how easily creative ppl can be with minetest... so dont listen to my comment and go on working for that, i am sure there are some ppl out who like it ;-)

I didnt use gimp for this so I probably wasn't any good at the textures cos I didn't know how to use much of the other photo editor

i would use gimp, this is for me the best choice to work on the textures, its easy to get a photo or pic and then resize it to the format you need. that way you are able to design fast textures for your mod's or texturepacks.

together with SciTE => http://www.scintilla.org this is a good and fast way to start programming for the LUA API in minetest.

anyway just go on ... i am sure you will learn quick and soon have other goals then just to create new blocks

i normally use gimp for other mods but i'm currently overseas and don't have gimp and i use notepad++ normaly not scintilla i think notepad++ is alot easier

jep notepad++ is a lot easier, SciTE is a eviroment for lua programming so this has other posibilities....

overseas? whatever this means, for me overseas would be america or australia hehehe
