Server Crash

by BrandonReese » Thu Oct 25, 2012 21:17

I've have regular crashes running a minetest server on Windows XP, usually when somebody logs in and the terrain is loading.

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
16:01:32: ERROR[ServerThread]: ERROR: An unhandled exception occurred: std::bad_alloc

In thread 17c4:
/home/celeron55/mtbuild/celeron55-minetest-4a11323/src/server.cpp:152: Thread: Assertion '0' failed.
Debug stacks:
DEBUG STACK FOR THREAD 10d0:
#0  main
#1  Dedicated server branch
#2  dedicated_server_loop
(Leftover data: #3  step)
DEBUG STACK FOR THREAD 13ac:
#0  Thread
#1  loadBlock
(Leftover data: #2  loadBlock)
DEBUG STACK FOR THREAD 17c4:
#0  Thread
(Leftover data: #1  AsyncRunStep)
(Leftover data: #2  step)
(Leftover data: #3  addBlock)
(Leftover data: #4  serialize)

It doesn't seem to be a mod error, and I wanted to report the crash so it can get fixed in the future, I don't know if this is the correct place to report it. I'm running version 0.4.3-4a11323-meta_set_nodedef

std::bad_alloc

allow more cache space.
