Having a mod that allows you to set settings mid game. I think it is called GUI. Anyways you could turn damage off or filtering off in the middle of building your house. Also it could allow the admin and the players on a multiplayer server to change the ssettings but have the decision for the admin to be able to set the damage on or off for all the player (ex:survival map)

Player like (3d) animals.
Ones that you could ride or have as pets.

GUI just means Graphical User Interface. Its the opposite of CLI, Command Line Interface.

So does that mean we would want a CLI that does that stuff?

We already have a command to do that. Type "/set -n <setting name> <setting value>", to change the server's settings. It requires the "server" privilege to use, so standard users won't mess with your server's settings.

Most things are compatible with 0.4.4. The best way to find out if something is compatible is to test it yourself. And we already had a Mod Requeststopic already.
