Only thing I find annoying about Minetest is no sound. Would be nice to hear the trudging of Dungeonmaster before getting fireballed. ;)
Even simple sound effects like when swinging the axe or pickaxe or clash of the sword.
Enviromental... rolling of waves. the wind on mountains.

Sound support will probably come in the future, you should check out the patchset's page on the wiki...
