Synposis: A lightly controlled, small server. My first server. May experience downtime sometimes(esp. during weekdays or some saturdays).

Rules: No rigid rules, and interact is granted immediately. No bans will occur except in extreme circumstances. That means, I'll look the other way to griefing, but 0gb.us's landclaim is used, so no protected areas burn. I will assist in cleanup, but I am prone to taking sides in a land-related argument. I also plan to have a set of bots working if I can find help in getting the bot engine to work. However, use of hate speech and anything illegal in the real world is grounds for a temporary ban.

Elevating privs: If you invest tome time and get active, you can get give, fly, fast, and noclip once I upgrade to 0.4.5. Admin positions will be given to those I trust who have shown good leadership on others' servers, and who have shown their skills at moderating arguments effectively.

Current things: Pretty much nothing. A barren wasteland.

Technical stuff: 16GB RAM. Overclocked quad-core AMD CPU. Physical machine in my house. Backed up at every shutdown. Hard disk+RAM disk for temporary stuff. Unfortunately, my bandwidth isn't very high due to my location, so be patient, as I limit the server to 10 active users at a time.

Reliability Disclaimer: Now the server has a task scheduler, and will restart Minetest within seconds if it is not running. However, internet slowdowns or load can cause timeouts, so be patient!

well ok then. Do new players have interact by default or do I have to ask for privs?

Please read the original post. Interact is default, but elevating privs takes time.

Update: Technic has been removed, and I;ve added my own powered rails and brake rails to Carts as the existing rails wouldn't interface with Mesecons. However, a source of "phantom" lag still remains, where the CPU, GPU, and memory bus is idle, Minetest is showing normal vitals, there are obviously available resources, and yet Minetest seems to fail to process chat commands for some time.
