I will give you a list of mods then.
-add my peaceful_npcs for non-hostile npcs(if you want to make this hostile then talk with me through pm. there is some explaining)
-npcs for hostile npcs(but it is not as advanced as peaceful npcs)
-butter creeper to add a creeper that is minetest version
-jail so when they go to jail then they stay there(they teleport back to it every 30 seconds and you have to put them in jail)
+if you can make it where they go to jail when they die that would work for a hunger games.
-instead of jail make them get fly and fast when they die but no interact. also if possible make them invisible(make a skin with no pixels go on them)
-make automatic game restarts(just watch some videos on youtube "minecraft hunger games" and you will see some examples)
-add armor (people working on this)
-display blocks they look nice
-xhands really just super good tools
