I have bought a real computer; I'm writing from a Dell XPS running Ubuntu. I really only use the MacBook for iOS development (thus, I'm in XCode the majority of the time). Before I got the XPS, I was considering going with an Apple product and using that machine in my internship was a good way to find out how incompatible Macs are with the rest of the computing world.

However, a disproportionate number of my friends are Apple people, thus I check periodically to see how different things work on the platform. This and the fact that one sees MacBooks often in advertisements tends to falsely exaggerate their prevalence.

What are the requirements to get this to work? I have installed minetest_game from github and I can't open doors. Do I need the latest version of the mintest engine from github (Last time I recompiled from github was a couple weeks after stable 0.4.4)?
