time_speed is 72. when set. because "default" time speed (i mean, when I enter the server), appears to be 0. it goes up for a few meters, then resests to the time set with a command /time. what am i doing wrong?

This is a bug I've run into before as well. The only way to get the time speed up off of zero if you accidentally set it there, is to write it into your server's minetest.conf and restart the server - then you can adjust it.
