cURL allows you to download the media data from an other server (not via the Minetest protocol) wich is way faster.

can you make e double tap=fast like you did with the fly. also make it configurable in the settings tab

I noticed that a few old servers for 0.3.1 appeared in the public servers list. I sometimes like to look around on old maps, but would this new build have a negative effect on those old servers?

no because your client is not generating the map. the server is.

At least these are better than Sfan5's builds. I can ACTUALLY play them.

I don't know if it is you build or some changes that where made, but I have very low fps now. It seems to be related to graphics, when I reduce the screensize the fps go up. But I don't want to play minetest on a 800x600 screen. (Win7, all settings disabled)

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.

I am not sure why, but when running the game full screen with Direct3D 9 used as the renderer, the colors are a little off, and this is without the shaders on.
