I'm well aware of this mod: http://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?id=4147. So this means that each player can have their own skin on a server, and it's interchangeable?
Also, does minetest support external skins?

Yes, with mods, each player can have their own skin on a server. It can be changed by admins or with commands. It requires a reconnect to apply.

Why reconnect? When I press a button with the skin - it changes to the selected skin immediately. And I'm not admin and have no special privileges - only shout & interact.
