treegen tool

this is a tool you can use to experiment with the l-system treegen.
it has two modes, they are switched with shift+left click.

use /giveme treegen:edit to get one. it does not wear off.

l-system editor

this mode allows you to edit tree definitions (right click) and spawn the resulting tree (left click).



axiom generator

this mode allows you to generate axioms using a simple forth like language, and spawn the resulting structure.
this is somewhat similar to turtle graphics and forth.

Looks good. Still a bit difficult for me. Certainly a mod I'l try out one time. My first thought about your I-system editor was that it will make it easier to quickly try out new trees for a mod or for the treemod.

the program used to make this:

: c 60 0 DO [ G G G G G G G G G G T ] + LOOP ; : d 30 0 DO [ c ] / G LOOP ; d

enter this and hit run. set the angle to 6 degrees and press the angle button.
now spawn the axiom, fly up and spawn another...
