How to remove all water from world?

How to remove all water from world?

I need to remove all water on my world. How to do that, preferably not ingame. Is there some program that let me delete certain parts or content of world database?

Create a mod which has these two aliases:
Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.

minetest.register_alias("mapgen_water_source", "air")
minetest.register_alias("default:water_source", "air")

Will it work to if I liked, a flat water world?
But where you added it like how will, it look show screenshots or something...

It causes the game to see all water blocks as air blocks.
Therefore, all water will be deleted.

So it dont change anything in world database? That is not what im looking for. I want to erase those blocks, not disguise them. I tried to turn all water to glass, then delete the glass, but that did not worked well.

Air indicates the absence of a node, any space where a node can be placed must be occupied.

I mean when its turned air, it stais air, even without the moding. But that is all in-game. Im looking to remove replace types of blocks by external program so i can use my pc during its work.

You mean like how, floating Islands there no blocks under?
