You would still have to forward ports, unless the game can handle UPnP (try doing that) and your router has UPnP enabled (fortunately, it is enabled most of the time).

Port forwarding take one minute, unless of course you're stupid. Questio, have you even looked at the program itself? It is really well built, written in java, and easy to use. It is free, I would suggest downloading it and taking a quick look. The only "manual labor" involved is port forwarding, naming, and choosing your "rank" names....5 minutes total.

Setting up a Minetest server is just as quick though. At least, it is on Linux, I've never tried on Windows.
