Slower chest open for 0.4.6?

Slower chest open for 0.4.6?
I have been playing minetest so far.But then I realised in one of the server where I play have a slow load of chest to 0.4.6.I remember putting some of my chest in 0.4.5 and it loads much faster than the new one's even if the new one's don't have any item's inside of it.What seem to be the problem to that?

In 0.4.6 the content of the chest is only displayed to the owner. To achive this, the opening is handled on the server, and not in the client anymore. So you experience lag when opening it.

In 0.4.6 the content of the chest is only displayed to the owner. To achive this, the opening is handled on the server, and not in the client anymore. So you experience lag when opening it.
But Opening some chest I made in 0.4.5 seem's to be fast

Chests that are placed before 0.4.6 still display their content to everyone.

This feature may be more logical than the old behaviour and better understandable for new players, but unfortionately it does not work well in practise. Checking the content of ones chests to find the material one is looking for happens frequently, and the lag there is of the kind that severely annoys (not enough time to do something else like when compiling but at the same time a considerable time of waiting).
Another problem is that my crafting school on Redcrabs server uses locked chests to show the receipes of the blocks that can be crafted there. So at least Redcrabs server would have to disable this feature because else the school becomes entirely unusable.
The feature with server-provided formspecs is good for certain situations - for those situations where you do have to show diffrent formspecs to diffrent players or want to do something in lua (like talking or trading with a mob).
