Changing mapgen config with existing map.sqlite and pre-generating map

Hi,

I have generated a map with the mg_flags set to flat. Now I want to remove that and have all future chunks generate non-flat. Will this work and will the new chunks meet with the old properly?

Also, can I pre generate a specific area so clients don't have to wait for land generation and lag the server. I would like to allow my server to generate new land overnight or when nobody is using it. Is this possible?

Go to map_meta.txt in the world directory to change the flags. The edges will look ver cut-off, though.

Pregeneration cant be done without a player walking into the area, IIRC there was a mod that teleports players arround; I think the name was "explore" or something similiar.
