ShadowNinja's Creative Building Server

Address: shadowninja.minetest.net Port: 30008
IRC: #minetest-shadowninja on irc.inchra.net port 6667 (SSL 6697). Webchat

This is a server for serious builders. Backups are made daily and rollback is enabled.
You must ask for interact (the ability to build and dig). You can ask for interact either on the server or in this forum topic (make sure to connect to the server first and provide your in-game nickname!).
Moderators are on IRC even when they are not in the game and can grant interact.

Area protection:
You can protect up to 3 areas by yourself, you need to ask a moderator of you want more areas or a very large area.
See this tutorial for instructions on how to add your own protected ares.

Skins:
If you want a skin(custom player texture) please post it's URL in the game chat/IRC or this topic.
You can get skins from sites like minecraftskins.net, or make your own and upload them to services like mediacru.sh.

Yes, you may have interact, what is your in-game nickname?
Teleport privileges are for moderators only, sorry. I may add a limited version of this command for all users, but you should use travelnets for traveling long distances.

hey shadow.. i think shire banned me for no reason.. can you fix this, he was really being a jerk to me when i said i had the ability to grant interact.. told me im not a moderator since im not on the moderator signs at the spawn.. he told me i cant grant interact and i said i could show him i can.. i was trying to be civil and straight forward with him on how i got the ability to interact grant from you.. he threatened to revoke my privs and i guess he banned me from the server.. this is the only server i use since the globis creative server shut down and im highly irritated at how shire used his moderating.. i did nothing wrong to him and when i questioned him on why he was being a jerk to me he said "last warning".. i would greatly appreciate it if you would look into this, as i said i didnt do anything to deserve this.. i dont think people that do this sort of thing should be moderators..

I have been talking with shire on Vanessae's survival server via irc, and he is certainly not the nicest person. He gets angry very easily.

Hmm... I'll keep as close of an eye as I can on Shire. Thanks for the heads-up.
As a moderator, my limit of offenses until the banhammer is unleashed are the same for everyone, no matter what their status on the server. If a catch a moderator greifing, I will ban them. Moderators should act above and beyond the average player, not be disrespectful.

I am publishing a list of general offenses that will more than likely get you banned from the server: the number after the offense is the number of times said offense will be tolerated before you are banned. This may vary depending on who is moderating at the time.

Greifing anything. No exceptions. 1
Disrespect toward Moderator/ShadowNinja. 3
Spamming the chat after being told to stop. 2
Speaking in all caps after being told to stop. 2
General trolling posts. 2
Posting links to illegal material. 1
1x1 tunnels/towers. 5

Keep in mind that this list can be revised.

It seems we have a name conflict. One of you will have to chose a different name. hampa16 has priority due to being on the server first and being on the forum longer. But you may want to match forum accounts to server accounts.
